Allwyn appoints Francesco Rodano as Group Head of Responsible Gaming

Lucerne, Switzerland – 9th September 2026 – Allwyn AG is pleased to announce that Francesco Rodano has joined the lottery-led gaming entertainment company as Group Head of Responsible Gaming, bringing substantial international experience spanning public policy, regulation and technology innovation.

Francesco joins after 10 years at the technology-led gaming company Playtech, where he led a global initiative focused on player protection and long-term business sustainability. During this time, he also championed the implementation of an award-winning AI-driven behavioural analytics platform.

He also spent nearly a decade as Director of Remote Gaming at the Italian gaming regulatory authority, Agenzia Dogane e Monopoli (ADM). There he put in place the country’s national online gaming framework and worked with regulators internationally.

Francesco joins a company committed to a proactive, world-class approach to player safety. Allwyn’s lottery businesses all meet Level 4 of the World Lottery Association's responsible gaming framework, the highest level of accreditation available. Its Play the Right Way campaign is actively implemented across markets and the inaugural Allwyn Player Protection Lab award recipients were recently announced. This award sees up to €100,000 of funding given to each of two innovative research projects dedicated to advancing new approaches to player safety.
